Well, what a long time between reports. It just goes to show you of how busy a man can get while manning the powerful federation that is the Total Devastation Association. We're just getting better and better all of the time.
Let me start off by saying that the roster has since taken a decent sized improvement with other guys coming in while others are axed. This is in an effort to keep the TDA's roster at its best, no matter what we have to do in order to get it competing to the stage of entertainment, excitement and memories which will last a lifetime. With that in mind, Wrestlecraze 4 will be taking place on Saturday, August 14th, 2004 at Toronto's Skydome. A great crowd of upwards of 70,000 will be expected. Having a crowd that big with the sound that strong, it's no matter that the TDA will always succeed throughout all of the challenges it faces from its normal day-to-day operations.
Injustice III was spectacular. What can I say? The Sky-Line Match was everything that a wrestling fan could have wanted. Shark and Rottweiler fought with tooth and nail and injuries took their toll. Both competitors will be back when they are fully recovered, which is expected to be back in a month or so. Rottweiler was the new champion.
MidKnight won the TDA title. For so long, that title had eluded him and finally, he captured it. I found it pretty interesting to see why Nick Nitemare had gotten himself involved in the matchup. Well, he better hold his ground...I'm the Commissioner of the TDA here. He shouldn't have messed with the outcome. It was an exciting match that frankly, something like that made it troublesome. Oh ya...for those of you who may tell me that the referee had missed a call when the foot of Jesse Daniels was on the ropes when MidKnight pinned him...Well, the referee at the time was in a position that he couldn't have seen Jesse's foot on the ropes. To that end, MidKnight is your new TDA champion. Ace put up a great fight to defend his crown with Jesse Daniels coming close. But, no matter what...that was a show to remember.
In other results...The Blood Pack's Tornado and Phoenix had become the new TDA Tag Team Champions with a victory over The New ADT's The Supreme Machine & Shane Malone. They deserved those titles; The Great White Dragon was defeated by Vito Grazzino. Not a bad match, although I think that Dragon deserves a re-match. Tomas was successful in fending off both The One and Matradox. Tomas got lucky, I believe. Plus, Yami had gotten a decision over Bane. Yami has gotten his revenge after Bane had sucker punched him in the locker room before the match happened. In my books, I believe that Injustice III was a show for the ages. Wrestlecraze 4 will be just as memorable.
In business news, we will be releasing C.T Ramirez this week. Just wasn't committed, I'm sure. We're no strangers to that...only the guys who are like that gets the axe of shame. There were some contract extensions to both Grazzino's and The Great White Dragon. A contract offer was since made to Bane and was excepted.
The TDA has since signed their newest talent to the fold, Lynx. I believe that this superstar will benefit well with the others in the locker room. A great addition...We're close on making two additional signings, whom are newcomers Shane Cassidy and Tombstone.
The Merchandise section is doing much better as of late. Remember, if any of you want to make requests for clothing items or anything else, please click on the link which is provided at the top of that page in the "Retail" section.
Lastly, in the application page, there will be an addition made. There will be a new section posted to provide a sample role-play that the TDA management will be judging any other future TDA superstar that comes into the fold. Not only will the history and realistic characteristics will be normally looked at, the sample role-play will give the management a true sense of who they will be signing. Many times in the past we have signed these potentially high-priced guys, only to find that they're in the graveyard, with very poor two-month probation periods. Heck, sometimes just one week or even one month. It would improve our quality for talent that we bring in to strengthen an already strong roster.
I have one last item to address. We are finalizing the details for making a successful link to the TBL Newsletter. This newsletter has many subscribers world-wide, which includes their affiliates. Our goal is to secure the Total Devastation Association as a future affiliate with the TBL Newsletter. With that going to be done, those who subscribe to it, will receive the newsletters in their e-mail inboxes. The TDA link will be provided to them in the newsletters, which in turn, can lead them to us and would make them a potential member of the best e-fed that is on the 'net today!!!
That seems to be it for this two month or so period. I'll be sure to provide more issues on a more consistent basis. I'll try.
